Sick setup!!! Very impressive. The blue lighting goes well with the emotiva blue.
Thanks so much, glad you’ve enjouthe picture. Yes, vinyl is my preference and no the other gear doesn’t take away from its sound quality. The Rega RP 6 is a modern TT and sounds full and without snap-crackle or pop! It has a sound unrivaled by any other format. A texture you can feel in your soul. It’s mated to a McIntosh tubed C220 preamp and Bob Latino M 125 monoblock tube amps!
Lights are a nice touch, my LED strip broke that was in my room, gotta get another and copy you! I put mine around the ceiling.

My whole room arrangement changed when I got a plasma TV, I sort of miss that old Christmas tree lighting.

Like all panel speakers, they need room to breath and are sensitive to room acoustics.
In another forum we used to visit each other's homes with M/L speakers, one out of three had the wrong set-up, but 2 out of 3 had the right set-up.
Even within the M/L crowd there is disparity on how to treat the room, most of the guys want to make them sound like other speakers (dead to my ears), others like myself would rather have them sound like live music and do not over-treat the room.
To each their own I guess.
There is a high-end, very high end stereo shop near me that has musical events, some with the manufacturers representatives, some with local musical talent. And at these event I can tell these $250,000 - $500,000 systems are superior in many ways over my less than $10,000 system, however I enjoy mine more.
To answer your question, my system sounds great - to MY EARS.

One must consider that over half the sound one's ears hear is the room.
I have my room the way I want it, and those other systems would have to be tuned in if possible.
However, I am not convinced the giant scale and sometimes overwhelming sound of theses super system can produced would fit in my (smallish) room.
So it's not about "better", it's about "best fit" and "livable".
Kind of like finding the right woman for yourself, she might not be the top in every category but overall you know when she's the one.

I should note that this super high-end dealer does not sell any panel speakers (I hate 90% of boxes remember), and his selection of tube electronics is limited to Audio Research. I've heard Audio Research tube amps sound great with the Sonic Faber "Ellipsoid", but in general that house brand (AR) has traditionally been dry sounding to my ears. AR did everything they could to make tube equipment not sound like tube equipment and neutered it in my opinion.
